You can’t run away from a K.A. shell. Best to just face up to the music. (KA is my sister's term for a spiked shell. You get to guess what it stands for. =D)
It is better to give than to receive. However, those who give tend to receive, soon after, and usually in the tailgate. This is why it is so important to conserve your resources and give only when the recipient will be so overwhelmed by your gift that they will be unable to respond in kind.
